Planning Application

In March 2025, RES submitted a planning application for its up to 100MW Machaire battery energy storage system proposal, on land approximately 600m northeast of the Rasharkin substation, in the townland of Magheraboy, approximately 1km north of Rasharkin, Co. Antrim to Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
